Advantages of Electric Vehicles

Electric vehicles not only help you save money on the long run, but also helps the environment. These are few of the many advantages of buying an Electric Vehicle:

  • They drive awesomely
    Smooth easy drive!
  • They reduce local air pollution
Pure electric cars = zero emissions, which means a less polluted environment for all. Healthier air!
  • They save you money
Yes, they may have an expensive price, but running costs are way lower than the gas cars, so you’ll benefit in the long run.
  • They’re perfectly quiet
No noisy engine = a more relaxing commute.
  • They help fight climate change
Electric cars are considerably more energy efficient than combustion engines.

And what are the disadvantages of electric vehicles?

Electric vehicles sales are growing fast in the last years, but the charging infrastructure that supports them still needs tons of work. In the past months, improvements are being made rapidly as manufacturers and charging point companies work to create a efficient network. But even without the worry of finding charging points, there are still a few disadvantages to be aware of:
  • They’re costly to buy upfront
Electric Vehicles prices vary from $30,000 to $80,000. Although you can take advantage of government grants and the tax refund.
  • The choice of electric cars is still a little limited
Car manufacturers have only recently caught the electric vehicle (EV) bug, so the choice of models remains limited.
  • They can be tricky to charge
People who drive long distances regularly are still quite nervous of the ‘range’ of electric cars, because it may be hard to find a charger station.
